Not transparent and false advertising

Not transparent and false advertising. Saying you will explain and then have an excuse to why you can't. Misleading. I would give zero stars as a rating. Seems like many others have same issues. Not a good company.

AWFUL WEBSITE

refused application when i knew it was extremely good. cheap and broke and just a hassle! DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! they say that they listen to concerns but yet to fix absolutely anything about this crap, ugly built website

TextBroker Easily Handles the Large Content Demands I Need to Meet for Clients

Previously, I had a full-time writer on hand for my agency's content creation needs. The system worked but was not nearly as easy to manage into our workflow as is it working with Text Broker. I set up Teams, and whalla I can submit the content that I need and a writer looking to get to work can accept the task. Delivery is fast and change requests or in-house changes to delivered content are limited.

I have on-and-off written for…

I have on-and-off written for Textbroker for over a decade. It can be good or bad. The editors are paid about $11 an hour and are far from professional. For the last eight years, I have worked for the leading USA home improvement retailer barking out product descriptions. Once covid hit, I chose to go back to Textbroker. Now, it's a nightmare. I have two UC Davis SEO certifications, and I know these folks don't get it. They cater to Black Hats – it is a content mill. You would be better off digging in the neighborhood trash for aluminum cans.

A serious and professional company

I've been working with TextBroker US for 8 months now and I'm satisfied with their services. They understand well our needs and deliver on time. They follow up on the content quality. If a writer is not a good fit for our project, they immediately find another profile.

Poor service quality!

The site is really confusing and unintuitive. No possibility to choose writer or at least to communicate with him before order starts to proceed.
A writer just dropped my order after I requested for revision and asked him to hurry up with my writing. Also, I asked if he has any certificated to prove his qualification - that was another reason for him to to screw me over.
Moreover, this guy obviously used AI even though he denied it.

Hard to beat!

I've been working with Textbroker for more than 10 years (on and off) and it's a great service. Most content services cost far more and the quality I've found of those other services (when you're paying much higher costs) is only marginally better. I've used several different content creation companies and I keep coming back to Textbroker.

Requested 5 star article, which was decent, requested some revisions, now there is a wholly different article written by a new writer which is worst than the first and doesn't take into account any of the revisions I asked for. Don't see a way of contacting previous writer as I don't have a record of their username. Poor experience overall wouldn't use again. Got suckered into it with the 7$ coupon they advertise. Minimum deposit is 25$. 500 word article was $36.

The firm is seeking adversaries where none exist

I was a Textbroker author from 2013 to 2020, having been terminated for submitting text the owners determined was spun. I was given no opportunity to explain that I’d simply submitted that copy in error; the particular piece was only partially worked, and I’d sought a number of times to address the incident through the proper channels. No response was forthcoming. If the company chooses to hide behind its trembling knees, that’s its business. I’m satisfied that my integrity outshines the firm’s. Stay away.

Avoid Textbroker

I worked on writing projects via Textbroker. My writing was approved by the clients, they paid Textbroker, and now Textbroker refuses to pay me. They closed my account on a random Friday night with no way of me contacting them until Monday morning. They are now withholding all of the money I made, even though the client has already paid them for the work I have done. They have been extremely unhelpful in remedying the situation so I contacted BBB and am now working with them to get my hard earned money from Textbroker. A warning to all freelance writers, AVOID TEXTBROKER.

Textbroker is the worst company to work…

Textbroker is the worst company to work for. I have never had any quality problem with my work but one morning I woke up and I found my account was blocked for security purposes. When I contacted them, they immediately said my account was going to be reviewed after 2 days. I had some orders in progress and I tried to explain to their support team but they didn't even reply. Now they just sayed my account was closed and I can no longer work for them. They don't protect their writers at all, especially those who are doing so well. My experience with them was so bad. I can't recommend them at all.

They asked me to send a picture of me…

They asked me to send a picture of me holding my ID before I'd be allowed to order articles. I don't work for them and they're not a financial institution, so why should they be requesting this kind of information?

I decided I was gonna do it anyway but guess what they did? Rejected my ID and asked me to fill the refund form to get a refund, effectively wasting my time.

If you value your time, stay away from this service.

Direct Orders are the Way to go

I use Textbroker as a content purchaser and I love the platform. Once you are able to find an author that fits your requirements, direct orders are the way to go. I recommend creating a team to find the winners then move into direct orders.

So Far, Pretty Good Service

I've had several orders filled over the past 2 weeks. So far, most have been very good. One writer did not follow instructions and would not fix the issue. Luckily, another writer came in and did a nice job. My advice is to provide very clear instructions in the briefing.

Shady, unethical, broken. Stay away as a client and as a writer.

Disclaimer: I am not a writer, I've been purchasing articles on TB for a very long time now. I have spent a lot of money on the platform and the only thing they care about is how to exploit writers and squeeze every last penny out of everyone involved.

Their product is broken (the messaging system DOESN'T WORK), they don't care if it is usable, they monitor every conversation, they add extra words to orders so they can claim the difference and they are not flexible with payments.

Despite being somewhat useful if you are searching for a quick order, they are completely useless and rely on dodgy tactics to survive.

Require Passport Verification with No Automatic Refund- Funds Stuck in Account

Ordered a piece of content to try out the service. They required me to upload a picture of my face and my passport, which of course I'm not willing to do for a 30$ article.

I asked for a refund and instead of accepting, they make me fill out a form explaining why I want a refund.

I'm still waiting to hear back but I'm willing to bet it will take ages for the refund to get approved.

This was my first and only interaction with this service.

Account Closure, No Communication

Like another person on here, I had my account closed out of the blue on Sept 1. They cited TOS violations and no explanation. I can't think of anything I did. I sent two emails and got no response. It was once a good company, though the pay was low.
