WASTE OF TIME

I went through 3 different verification steps - a text to my phone, an email with a clickable link, and an other email with a second verification code. My bank approved the transaction. A while later I received cancellation notice from Gift Card Granny. No reason given. They tied up my funds for days because the charge is pending.

E-gift cards

I have been buying from Gift Card Granny for years. I have never had a problem getting an e-gift to anybody I've ever ordered for. Christmas 2023 I bought my brother-in-law a $100 e-gift card. 4 months later he tells me he cannot located in his emails. I contacted gift card granny and explained what happened. I did not have a certificate number to give them. I only had my name and email address and his name and email address. They immediately found his certificate and noted he received it but it was not used. Within minutes they sent him a replacement e-gift! I highly recommend gift card granny for all your e-gifts for any age. I will continue to be using them.

TRUE TO THEIR WORDS

I selected GCG because of the webpage, and seeing they were based in Pittsburgh, Pa. (I am from W. Pa.) I trusted them and spent $1400 in family gift cards. I was able to go through the process of online purchasing-- even as a computer illiterate granddad (not grandma). The ordering was well designed and straightforward. There was some confusion about the confirmation and processing, but, within 2 days they did EXACTLY what they said they do...they custom printed cards (with my picture) and delivered all 9 Visa gift cards in Tn and Me. The recipients were thrilled, and I was thrilled. I will use GCG again. AAron in Fl.

Easy Transaction

I appreciate that Apple Pay is a payment options so my cards don’t get declined for fraud prevention. I was able to send an out-of-state co-worker a gift card for his family. Thank you for allowing a simple transaction/process!

Happy Customer 🙂

I wanted to send my sister a unique gift Visa card with both our photos on it. I was a little skeptical because I was purchasing $500.00 amount. I also added a beautiful card with a message in it. This is a Pittsburgh based business and I’m from Pittsburgh and we are honest people. The gift card arrived in time for my sister’s birthday. My sister said this was the most unique birthday gift she has ever received from me. She loved it.

Apparently credit card companies put…

Apparently credit card companies put out alerts on gift card purchases, which leads to some cancellations. My gift card did go thru but was cancelled on several occasions as well. An erratic and frustrating process. Now I am waiting for processing on another gift card order. A long wait.

I ordered a Visa gift card as a…

I ordered a Visa gift card as a Christmas present. Even after registering the card it was declined. The recipient tried it at Walmart, Amazon and Publix and was declined at each place. I was unable to get assistance from their non-existent customer service. Now I'm out $100 and recommend staying far far away from this sham of a company.

Great for building my business

I use this company to mail gift cards to clients that refer new clients to us. I can put my company logo on the card and add the client's name to the card. It is a great way for a small business to build their client retention and increase client numbers. I think it is an excellent service and at this time I have no complaints.

Worst ever for communication

Worst ever for communication! 1 phone number is disconnected, can't get ahold of a real person! Trying to settle a dispute, but have gotten nowhere! This company is probably raking in the cash, but to cheap to spend on operators for customer service! Don't trust, Gift Card Granny!!

Worst Service Ever...!!

Worst Service Ever...!! I tried to buy a gift card for a vendor with my corporate credit card. After they APPROVED my order and I told my vendor their gift card was on the way (I paid extra, FED EX 2-DAY), 2 days later Gift Card Granny sends me an email stating my order was cancelled due to potential fraud. I sent a message to their customer service team letting them know I used my corporate credit card for the purchase and I work for the bank who issued the card. I also called the bank and they said there was no problem with the card or any transactions. Gift Card Granny's customer service replied and told me they would not speak to me about the situation because I could be a fraudster. Really...??? So now my vendor is not getting the gift card I promised them and I have to go somewhere else to get the gift card I needed 2 days ago. Gift Card Granny has the WORST customer support when they will approve, then deny a transaction 2 days later, and then refuse to speak to the customer and explain what's going on. Do yourself a favor and find another gift card vendor...!!

Apple Pay

The fact that I can only use the card online is
the biggest downside. I know you can get a physical card but why not allow the e-gift card to be usable for Apple Pay.

Thank you for replying! These gift cards are gifted to me by my non-profit. I do appreciate the response. Despite not being able to add it to my mobile wallet, a gift card is still a nice surprise, my only other feedback maybe is to add a transaction list of what we used the card for.

We are very sorry for this issue. We do state in multiple locations that these egifts can only be used for online purchases and cannot be used for money transfer sites prior to buying them.

I receive several Walmart gift cards…

I receive several Walmart gift cards from family.
Recently I get notified that there are 2 cards to open, but I’m having a heck of a time figuring out which gift cards have been used and which have not. Am I missing something? Can I delete the ones that are used to avoid confusion?

Cancelled Christmas order on Christmas Eve

Ordered Christmas gift cards for each of my 7 Grandchildren. Paid extra to ensure they arrived by Christmas. Ordered on 12/19 and advertised arrival in 4 days. Here it is Christmas Eve and no cards. Took forever to figure out how to talk with a real person who just cancelled my order and said sorry we had an internal error and your order did not process. That is just not acceptable.

Good service

Good service. I like the convenience. I have had issues with multiple cards on a single order. Website does not permit using the TAB key to complete a line entry and jump to the next field which is bad. Also, if you copy a prior card it's not easy moving through it to edit it with other info. As such, it's taken more time than I would like, but other than these small issues I am thrilled with the service.

The Great Website

The website was very easy to use. It's nice I could have it shipped directly to the recipient so I didn't have to shop for it then send it. Also loved the option to personalize it with my own photo. I will definitely use your website again when the need arises.

I TRIED TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE TO SAY I NEVER RECIEVED THE MERCHANDISE ( I THINK I WAS SCAMMED) AND WANTED TO ASK THEM TO REVERSE THE CHARGES, BUT ALL I GET IS CHAT NOW ASKING IF I RECIEVED THE CARD OVER AND OVER AGAIN.. BEST ADVISE GET A REAL VISA CARD NOT A GRANNY

I appreciate the use of a gift card

I appreciate the use of a gift card. It may just be my lack of knowledge on how to use it. I would like to be able to add to my apps and have any over or under balance be used on another order. I may try that next time so I don't lose part of the value when ordering less than the card amount.

Affiliate commissions miscalculated, over 6 months later - still no resolution

We were a Gift Card Granny affiliate on Shareasale.com. Several orders were reported with a significantly lower order amount, and our commissions were lower due to that. We tried to reach out to their affiliate manager Ricky with no success.

It's has been a week since we were promised someone will reach out to help. No progress yet.

Hoping to get someone's attention and get it resolved!

Confusing email regarding shipping.

Please note in your notification email, the subject line states the card has shipped but in the body of email it states "will be shipping soon". Confusing.

I sent a gift card to a difficult…

I sent a gift card to a difficult person. She did not get it in the time in which I was told by no fault of Granny. The USPS was so slow in getting the mail delivered on that time frame. Not the first time USPS did not deliver in a timely fashion. I had called and spoke to a wonderful young lady at Granny and we together decided to give the mail a few more days. It took them to the wire. Granny and personnel are perfect and I will select them for my needs again.
