Q: How much does it cost to become a LuLaRoe Consultant?

LuLaRoe only looks out for our best interest and wants us to SUCCEED! The Onboarding Package was created to include some of our top selling styles, which includes close to 300 pieces of clothing! There are 3 different Onboarding Packages to choose from, and they range from $5000-$9000. There is also an add-on package for an additional cost. You will have the option to order more styles as soon as you onboard!

Q: Are there any additional startup or membership fees?

No! There are never any hidden startup costs or membership fees when you become a LuLaRoe consultant. As a consultant, the only thing you are purchasing from LuLaRoe is the clothing/inventory. The clothing is purchased at wholesale prices that you will be selling at the suggested retail costs. 

Q: How do I sign up for LuLaRoe?

A: Please email Sunny at lularoesunnylee@gmail.com or feel free to contact any consultant on Team FAB. We will guide you through the entire process! It is highly recommended to connect with one of us first, so that we can get to know YOU and answer any questions you may have!

Q: What if I decide LuLaRoe isn’t for me? 

A: We understand that life happens. You will have the opportunity to return your unsold inventory to LuLaRoe. There will be a restocking fee that is determined based on the condition of the clothing. Before you come to the decision to leave LuLaRoe, we encourage you to reach out to your sponsor first. 

Q: What is the LuLaRoe Queue?

A: Currently LuLaRoe is experiencing tremendous growth. In order to ensure that current and new consultants alike have sufficient inventory, LuLaRoe has placed a limit on how many consultants can join per day. The current wait time is 6-8 weeks. This wait time is referred to as “being in the queue.” When it is time for you to onboard, you will receive a call from LuLaRoe. During the call, you will purchase your initial Onboarding Package and confirm all your information. After the call, you will officially be a LuLaRoe consultant! Yay!

Q: How many LuLaRoe Consultants does the company currently have?

A: Currently there are approximately 70,000 LuLaRoe consultants nationwide. LuLaRoe is still a very young company compared to other direct sale companies. The potential for growth is truly astounding. It is a great time to join this amazing company! 

Q: Do I have to do in-home parties?

A: No. While in-home parties are great with many benefits, you are not obligated to do them. In-home parties allow you to interact and build relationship with your customers. This will give customers the opportunity to try on the clothes and see the different styles, fabrics, and prints in person. In-home parties are highly recommended, as they will help boost sales, find loyal customers and potential team members. While you can definitely make an amazing income with only online sales, the in-home parties are an invaluable part growing your LuLaRoe business.

Q: Do I have to sell online?

A: No. Many consultants prefer one-on-one interactions with their customers and enjoy providing an exceptional and personal experience. However, selling online will allow you to build relationships with customers all over the country. It will allow you to showcase your inventory to a broader audience and network with people outside your local area.

Q: Can I make my own prices for the clothing?

A: Yes, and No. LuLaRoe has suggested retail prices for all their clothing. When selling online, it is required to use the MAP (Minimum Advertised Price) prices. For in-home parties, it is recommended to sell within the suggested price range, in order for all consultants to be able to provide the same level of services to customers. 

Q: What is the profit margin?

A: 45-60% depending on the item

Q: Should I worry about over saturation in my area?

A: No. Since LuLaRoe only creates a certain number of pieces in each print and the pieces are randomly distributed to each consultant, all consultants receive different inventory. Even if consultants carry the same styles, there will be entirely different prints. Although LuLaRoe is quickly growing, we are far from being over saturated!

Q: What about prints I don’t like? Can I return them?

A: No. Consultants can only makes returns to LLR if an item is damaged, or if they have decided to resign. Don’t worry, everything sells! Everyone has different taste in styles and prints, so there is a customer out there for every print!

Q: How long does it take to earn back my initial investment?

A: On average, a consultant will be able to earn back their initial investment within the first 6-8 weeks. For me, it took 3 weeks to make back my initial investment. Of course, it all depends on how much a consultant is willing to put in the work to create a thriving business.

Q: Do I have to build a team to be successful?

A: No. This is your business and you get to decide what will be best for you and your situation. There are many consultants who are able to be make a great income by only selling the LuLaRoe clothing, while there are others who are motivated to form a team. There are many benefits to forming a team, but it is not required to successfully run your business.

Q: How much does the top paid consultants make?

A: The top consultant sold $60,000 in January of 2017. The top team leader received a compensation check of $159,000! If you are fully committed to running a successful business, there is great potential to make a significant income!

Q: How much money do I make?

A: LuLaRoe is so much more than just making an income; it empowers us to achieve financial freedom, strengthen families, and serve others. For me, this journey has been about teaching my children that by working hard, being passionate, and believing in yourself, you can be successful in all pursuits. If you would like to see what my first month numbers were, please see my YouTube video called, “My First Month Real Numbers.” 

Q: How do I build a strong Facebook group?

A: There are so many different and creative ways to grow your Facebook following. Building a strong social media following takes time, diligence, and consistency in engaging your audience. Once you become a LLR consultant, I would be happy to share insight and provide access to Facebook training videos.
