OpenTable

Long time Open Table user. It's a great app that super user friendly and makes making reservations easy. That said, it's really really hard to get in touch with Open Tabel directly. Currently, there's a problem with their app. I've been unable to modify the last two reservations I've made. Open Table has a virtual assistant, but it's really limited in function. I dug through the app for 10 minutes looking for a way to report the problem. This is the only place I could find to reach then directly

Difficult to use; more steps than bank verification. Verification sent via text then, I have to have it sent to my email. Sit there and wait and nothing happens. Too many steps just to make a reservation at a place to eat! I'm surprised it didn't ask for biometrics or a DNA sample. Feckless app just to make a reservation. If I was a restaurant, I would not allow my customers to use this app.

I wish when I put a city in that it just shows me the restaurants in that city versus all these other cities I'm not interested in. I love their old system that was a little more concise. It would be nice if they also had a map that was easy to find when you're looking for reservations in a specific area.
