For a while, I was just wondering if I was wasting my time. Had it for 3 months and kept filling out prescreener surveys but not qualifying for anything. I was like “is this just a scam to collect my info with these prescreen surveys (that take about 5 minutes each)?” But patience pays off and I eventually got to take a video survey. That part was easy (since I already had a phone mount for online classes I teach) but I can’t say it was fast. The 10 questions and recording were easy enough but the videos took a few minutes each to upload (on my high speed connection), so in all, it might have taken 20 minutes... so don’t start it in between important activities. However, I was paid quickly by PayPal. I hope I get another! It’s certainly worth the download.

One can't rely on Mind Swarm for a steady source of income, but when a survey is completed, they do pay fast. It doesn't take a lot of time to apply for the studies. They send an email to apply for a survey when they think you may be a match. I always fill it out when I receive the occasional email. (I don't get spammed to death) Usually, I don't get selected for the survey, but when I do get a survey, it pays well and pays fast.

They don’t flood or overwhelm me with emails, and the application process is reasonable. The pay is good for the amount of effort and time that gets put in. I recommend Mindswarm, but I would recommend you sign up for User Interviews and Focus Groups also. Between the 3, I usually make extra money almost every month.

I really love this app. It’s very easy to use, there are no scams, and you actually get the money that they offer. You answer the screening questions, and if you were fit for the research project, you answer survey questions. That’s it! It’s really that simple. After answering the survey questions, you will be rewarded with the amount of money previously discussed before even completing the screening questions.
The only issue is I would say that I have is that the surveys aren’t plentiful. I just completed a survey last week, and prior to that, my last survey was two months ago. It is a great way to make a bit of extra money throughout the year, but you can’t use it as your only source of income.
