For Easter we held a fundraiser for new sheds to replace our old dilapidated, leaky ones used to hold bales of hay (we use ~20 bales/month), bags of litter (~40 bags/month) and many other bunny supplies. And thanks to FB friends we were able to purchase new ones. Here they are being built and we can’t wait to put them to good use!
We’re so grateful to everyone who contributed, this wasn’t the "sexiest" thing to donate to, but so necessary to help us care for the bunnies.
I gotta argue. Who says those aren’t the sexiest thing? Congratulations! And thank you for your good work. 🐰❤️

Rodney Goldenray. He’s my snuggle go to bunny at the end of a rough day. He has such a healing and soothing presence. Sometimes the most traumatized bunnies become the biggest healers. I also miss you everyday, Ting. Marcy

Everyone wishes they had a snuggle bun like Rodney. I miss Ting as well, but just a few days ago I was wearing a t-shirt with her adorable face.
He looks like a wonderful snuggler! Angel seems to sense when we are down and that’s when she decides to be affectionate 💕 Otherwise, she’s more of a “leave me alone” kind of girl. Pic of her sleeping on a hard table leg like she has no soft surfaces (chair, bed) 😂

Omg, was reading this and thinking just like Ting and there you mention her at the end! So, so true. I've fostered many buns and time after time, the buns with guarded prognosis, limited time left, or life with severe limitations compared to most buns have not only made the best of their life but at the same time have calmed and comforted others, whether furry or human. I'm glad Rodney Goldenray was rescued, is soaking up lots of love and giving it out too. ❤

Thank you for rescuing Nivens. Time and patience is normally what's needed to gain the trust from a bunny. In this case, three years seems like a long time but all worth it in the end.
